Yamaganda and daytime Gulika divide the existing sunrise-to-sunset interval into eight equal parts. Their weekday slots follow the usual Panchang convention. These are general daily windows, not a personal Muhurta recommendation.

Daily Moonrise/Moonset and relevant Vrat Moonrise reuse the existing ritual disc-centre convention without refraction. See Moon & Sun for the reference instant and horizon assumptions.

Brahma Muhurta uses the fourteenth of fifteen equal parts of the preceding sunset-to-sunrise night. Pradosh retains Avyani’s first fifth of the night; Nishita is its central fifteenth. These are declared conventions, not a claim that all traditions define them identically.

Durmuhurta uses weekday fifteenths of daylight; Tuesday also includes the seventh fifteenth of the night. Bhadra is the full Vishti Karana interval, without residence, face or tail subdivisions. Choghadiya divides day and night into eight parts each; Hora into twelve each. This daily Hora convention does not alter Kundali’s existing Hora calculation. Amrit in Choghadiya is a traditional slot name, not Nakshatra-based Amrit Kaal.
