What this site offers
Avyani brings together a spiritual library, catalogues of Pujas, Samagri and temples, Jyotish guidance, a directory of Panditji and Mentors, Puja booking, Adhyatma Samvad, and a family record called Vamshavali. Some parts are open to everyone; others need an account, and a few need permission granted by the record keeper.
Accounts
You need an account to book a Puja, to ask a question on a Vani, to request guidance, or to keep your own guidance reports. Give accurate details when you register, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you believe someone else is using your account. One person should not hold several accounts to obtain the same service more than once.
The platform recognises different roles - a Yajman seeking a service, a Panditji offering one, a Mentor publishing guidance, and a Seeker following a Mentor. Each role sees different screens and can do different things.
Panditji and Mentor listings
A Panditji or Mentor applies to be listed, supplies supporting documents, and is reviewed before the listing is published. Publication means the application was reviewed on the material supplied; it is not a guarantee of any outcome. Each Panditji and Mentor is independent and is responsible for the service they provide and for the accuracy of what they publish about themselves.
Booking a Puja
A booking on this site is a request to a specific Panditji for a date, time and place. The Panditji may accept, decline or propose a change, and either side may cancel through the booking screen with a reason. The agreement for the ceremony itself is between you and the Panditji. Please make sure the venue details and the number of people you enter are correct, since the Panditji plans around them.
Fees and Dakshina
Fees shown against a Panditji's services, and any Dakshina details a Mentor publishes, are set and published by that person, not by the platform. Payment is settled directly between you and them. This site does not run a payment gateway and never asks you for card or bank details; if a page ever appears to do so, do not enter them.
Jyotish guidance
Kundali and Panchang output is calculated from the birth details you enter using classical rules and a fixed astronomical reference. Where the record or the reference cannot support an answer, the site says so instead of guessing. This material is offered for reflection within its own tradition. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and it should not replace a qualified professional.
Adhyatma Samvad: Vani and questions
A Mentor publishes a Vani either publicly or to their Seeker Circle. A restricted Vani is for the people it was shared with; please do not copy it elsewhere. Registered users may ask a question on a Vani, and the Mentor may answer it. Questions and answers appear alongside the Vani and follow the same audience. The author, the Mentor and the administrator may remove a question or an answer.
Vamshavali
The family record holds information about real people, including people who are alive. Every record is marked public, family-only or private, and living members' details are protected further. Access to family-only material is granted deliberately by the record keeper: registering on this site does not by itself give you family access. If you are given access, use what you see for family purposes only and do not republish it.
What you contribute
You keep the rights to the text, questions and files you submit. By submitting them you allow the platform to store and display them to the audience you chose. Do not upload anything you have no right to share, and do not upload another person's private information without their agreement.
Acceptable use
Please do not misrepresent who you are, disturb other users, attempt to reach records or files you are not entitled to, or interfere with the running of the site. An account used this way may be suspended.
Availability and changes
The site is offered as it is. Parts of it are under active development, and features may change or be unavailable while work continues. These terms may be updated; the version on this page is the one that applies.
